Mencía y Garnacha - The Mancía is from the Dean’s Balhanna vineyard and are young vines grown on red clay soil. It is V.S.P. Trained and spur pruned. The Garnacha is from the Jupiter Creek vineyard with 30 y/o vines grown on red clay. It is V.S.P. Trained and spur pruned. The Mencía and Garnacha were carbonically fermented for 5 days then aged in terracotta egg.
